What kind of products does ENGZ use?

ENGZ uses high-quality, professional-grade products, including Sonax Germany, along with other trusted detailing resources when required. All products are selected to be safe for paint, interior surfaces, and long-term car protection.

Low-quality chemicals can damage paint, interior materials, and finishes over time. ENGZ uses professional products to protect your car's surfaces, deliver longer-lasting results, and avoid scratches, fading, and chemical damage.

No. ENGZ service vehicles are fully equipped with all tools, machines, and products needed for the service.

The service is performed at your location — home, office, or any selected address.

What do I need to do before the service starts?

Nothing. You simply hand over the car key — we handle the rest and return the car clean and ready.

What is the cancellation fees policy?

If a booking is canceled after the team has been dispatched or upon arrival at the location, cancellation fees will apply: Supreme (500 EGP) → 150 EGP fee; Chemical Cleaning (starting from 1,500 EGP) → 300 EGP fee; Detailing (2,000 EGP) → 400 EGP fee; Polishing (from 3,500 to 10,500 EGP) → 10% of package value. No cancellation fees apply if canceled at least 2 hours before the scheduled time. If the vehicle is not available upon the team's arrival, the booking will be considered canceled by the customer, and the cancellation fee will apply.

What types of cars are available for rent?

ENGZ offers a selection of vehicles to suit different needs, including economy, sedan, and premium options. In addition, ENGZ provides a custom request option, allowing you to request a specific car model. Simply submit your request through the app, and our team will work on providing the requested vehicle based on availability.

Can I rent a car for a short or long period?

Yes. Rentals are available on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, subject to availability.

Is car delivery included?

Yes. Rental cars can be delivered directly to your location.

What documents are required to rent a car?

A valid driving license and ID (or passport) are required. Additional requirements may apply.

Can I extend my rental period?

Yes. Extensions are subject to availability and must be requested through the app or customer support.

Is there a refundable deposit?

A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the car type and rental duration.

What happens if I exceed the mileage?

Mileage limits apply to all rentals: Regular customers — 120 km/day and 4,500 km/month; Premium customers — 150 km/day and 5,500 km/month. If you exceed these limits, additional charges may apply according to the service provider's policy.

Is insurance included in the rental?

Insurance is optional. Before you confirm, you will see the daily price with and without insurance. If you skip insurance, you must sign a promissory note for the full value of the car. If you add insurance, the promissory note is equivalent to one month of the rental value. The note may be used for accidents, late return, delay compensation, or repair costs.

What if the car I booked is not available?

If the service provider cannot provide the booked vehicle, they must offer either a better vehicle (same brand or higher category) or a 20% discount on the total rental price.

What should I do if I have an accident?

Request towing immediately via the app or another towing service, and report the accident to Engz via the hotline. The service provider will handle recovery and procedures. You are responsible for loss while the vehicle is under repair and may be charged up to the equivalent of 30 days of rental if it is unavailable due to repairs.

What is the minimum age to rent a car?

You must be at least 21 years old (or meet the service provider's minimum age), hold a valid driving license, and provide a valid ID upon pickup. The service provider may refuse to hand over the vehicle if these conditions are not met.

Can I cancel my car rental booking?

Yes. You can cancel free of charge at least 48 hours before pickup. If you cancel within 48 hours or on the same day, one rental day is deducted as a penalty and the rest of the paid amount is refunded.

What happens if I don't show up for pickup?

If you do not arrive at the agreed pickup location and time without cancelling, the booking is treated as a no-show and the full rental amount for the booked period will be charged.

What happens if I return the car late?

If you return the vehicle after the agreed return time, one full additional rental day will be charged.

Who pays for traffic fines during the rental?

The renter is fully responsible for all traffic violations during the rental period (speeding, parking, or any other fines) and must pay all resulting fines.

In what condition should I return the car?

You must return the vehicle in the same condition as received, with the same agreed fuel level, and at the agreed return time. Any damage, missing items, or excessive dirt may result in additional charges.

How does the security deposit work?

A refundable security deposit is held in escrow via Engz Wallet. It is released back to you after the vehicle is returned in the agreed condition. No cash handling — all managed digitally for your safety.

Do I need a license if I book with a driver?

No. If you book with our "With Driver" option, a valid driver's license is not required. The professional driver handles everything. Perfect for events or corporate use.

What if the driver cancels?

If your assigned driver cancels, we automatically find the next nearest available winch and notify you. You are never left stranded. In rare cases, a small compensation may apply — contact support for details.

How is the distance fee calculated?

The distance fee is based on the actual kilometers traveled from pickup to drop-off, using transparent per-KM rates shown in the app before you book. You pay the base fare upfront; the distance fee is charged mid-trip once the final route is known. No hidden calculations.

Can I request a flatbed for a luxury car?

Yes. You can choose the Luxury Flatbed option when booking. Flatbeds provide safer transport for high-end or low-clearance vehicles and protect your car during the tow. Select it in the app before confirming.

How long does a full wrap take?

A full vehicle wrap typically takes 3–7 days depending on the package, finish, and vehicle size. Partial wraps are faster. You will get an estimated timeline when booking and can track progress live in the app.

Why is there a 50% upfront deposit?

The 50% deposit reserves your slot and materials. It is held in Engz Wallet escrow and released to the workshop only after you approve the final result. This protects you and ensures commitment from both sides. The remaining 50% is paid upon completion.

Does the price change based on my car size?

Yes. Pricing is dynamic and based on vehicle size — compact, sedan, SUV, etc. — since larger vehicles require more material and labor. You will see a clear quote in the app before confirming. No surprise add-ons.
