1. Insurance Policy

Insurance is optional. Before you confirm your booking, we will show you:

• Daily rental price without insurance
• Daily rental price including insurance

If you choose not to add insurance: You must sign a promissory note for the full value of the car.

If you choose to add insurance: You must sign a promissory note equivalent to one month of the car rental value.

The promissory note may be used in the following cases:

• Accidents
• Late vehicle return
• Compensation for losses caused by delays
• Repair costs resulting from accidents

2. Mileage Policy

Mileage limits apply to all rentals.

Regular customers:

• Maximum daily mileage: 120 km
• Maximum monthly mileage: 4,500 km

Premium customers:

• Maximum daily mileage: 150 km
• Maximum monthly mileage: 5,500 km

If you exceed these limits, additional charges may apply according to the service provider's policy.

3. Vehicle Availability

If the service provider is unable to provide the vehicle you booked, we will ensure that one of the following is offered to you:

• A better vehicle within the same brand or a higher category, or
• A 20% discount on the total rental price.

4. Accident Procedures

In case of an accident or damage to the vehicle:

1. You must request a towing service immediately through our app or any other towing service.
2. You must report the accident to us via the hotline.
3. The service provider will handle the vehicle recovery and necessary procedures.
4. You are responsible for covering the loss resulting from the vehicle being out of service during repairs.
5. You may be charged up to a maximum equivalent of 30 days of rental if the vehicle is unavailable due to repairs.

5. Driver Eligibility

To rent a car through our platform, you must:

• Hold a valid driving license
• Be at least 21 years old or meet the minimum age required by the service provider
• Provide a valid identification card upon vehicle pickup

The service provider has the right to refuse to hand over the vehicle if these conditions are not met.

6. Vehicle Usage Policy

You agree to use the vehicle responsibly. You must not:

• Use the vehicle for illegal activities
• Use the vehicle for racing or reckless driving
• Allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle
• Use the vehicle for commercial transport unless agreed in advance

Violation of these terms may result in penalties or cancellation of your rental agreement.

7. Traffic Violations and Fines

You are fully responsible for all traffic violations during the rental period, including:

• Speeding violations
• Parking violations
• Any other traffic fines

You must pay all fines resulting from such violations.

8. Vehicle Condition Upon Return

You must return the vehicle:

• In the same condition as received
• With the same agreed fuel level
• At the agreed return time

Any damage, missing items, or excessive dirt may result in additional charges.

9. Booking Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation: You may cancel your booking free of charge at least 48 hours before the pickup time.

Cancellation within 48 hours: If you cancel within 48 hours of the pickup time or on the same day, one rental day will be deducted as a penalty and we will refund the remaining paid amount to you.

10. No-Show Policy

If you do not arrive at the agreed pickup location and time without cancelling your booking, we will consider the reservation cancelled due to no-show.

In this case, the full rental amount for the booked period will be charged.

11. Late Return

If you return the vehicle after the agreed return time, one full additional rental day will be charged.

12. Identity Verification

To ensure safety and compliance, we or the service provider may request the following documents before confirming your rental:

• Valid ID or passport
• Valid driving license
• Any additional documents if required

Failure to provide the required documents may result in cancellation of your booking.

13. Our Platform Role

Engz operates as a digital platform connecting you with independent car rental service providers.

• We do not own the vehicles listed on the platform.
• The rental agreement is made directly between you and the service provider.

However, we may assist in facilitating communication and resolving disputes between both parties.

14. Fraud and Misuse

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account in the following cases:

• Fraudulent bookings
• Providing false information or identity impersonation
• Repeated booking cancellations without clear reason
• Misuse of the platform or service providers

This may result in permanent account suspension.

15. Limitation of Liability

We are not responsible for damages, accidents, or losses that may occur during the rental period. Responsibility lies with you and the car rental service provider according to the rental agreement between you both.

16. Service Availability

Vehicle availability depends on individual rental service providers. We do not guarantee that all listed vehicles will be available at all times.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time to improve our services or comply with legal requirements. We will notify you of any significant changes through the platform.

18. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking through our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the terms and conditions stated above.
